Stormy tuesday

Oh man what a day. The first spot on the first cast were hooked up. Within the first 30 min we caught 5 trout with 1 keeper. Then came the the northern tip of berly. Stormy kept popping up with high wind making things hard to fish. We ran for the cover of the bridge to caught some sheephead. There were a few bite but only landed one. Sorry for the hard grind to fishing with my crew of bass fisherman from Kentucky.

We where suppose to be able to see the bridge but the storm pulled a magic trick making it disappear

Raining again but we did pull out a nice 55lber today!  Thanks guys!

The Cobia made a showing this week,and the Trout fishing has been great. My dad and my friend Drew took a break Sunday afternoon and went trout fishing.It was not long before Drew and I got lesson in fishing! Dad had one on almost every cast.Some up to three pounds.Over half of the fish were legal size. This year should be a good one for the trout.

No charter fishing today with the big ocean swell but still no skunky today!!!

CongrAts to the Fraiser for landing two cobia up to 50 lbs on a day with a tough glare.  Did not get out today to rough for my 27 footer. Hopefully tomorrow! 

Well we didn't have a rock star day but we did get lucky and make a little something happen at the end. Saw 2 and caught 1

CongrAts to the Hankinson party these cats from Elizabeth City hooked eight out of nine sightings today and brought 7 cobia in the boat!  Fish were up to 79lbs!  Great day!  Thanks guys!Sorry guys I am a crummy photographer.

Eight hours no fish then bottom of ninth 50 lb cobia then five more minutes a pair 70 and 35 lbers!  Congrats to you guys!

Bad weather for couple days one cobia yesterday caught some gaffers today back on the cobia lookin tomorrow.  Thanks Dan you got a great heart!!!! 

DOLPHIN TOUR

Fun day fishing out of Hatteras,Trigger fish and Dolphin.

Friday out with the Scarborough crew.  Slick calm 72 degree water turtles, bait frolicking, hammerhead waking along the surface. A day you live for to be on the water. Thin clouds created this impenetrable glare which gave us very very small window of visibility saw four cobia all day and never got a shot before they spooked.  Couple blues couple albecore still considered skunked.  Back out today with same crew and hooked four and got three nice cobia to the boat!  Cool father son group.  Thanks guys for fishing so hard!  

On Friday the Smith crew came out and fished.  We caught only a few Spanish.  We did get three cobia!   Thanks guys!  

Good fishing with good buddies landed 5 hooked 7 saw 8, thanks guys! 

The Blues!

Blue fish and a few flounder,thanks for a fun trip guys.

No Blues here!

Kicked around the inlet today and found a few blue fish to bend the pole.The girls got most of the fish,but Allen did manage to steal a few from Jamie.But she will have to get the Blue fish award for the day.

Nice Trigger Fish!

Sat. Super fun cobia fishing had Rich and Randy Wong on the boat.  Cobia fishing was great , way down south, we saw cobia and hammerheads sighcasting most of the day we even kept four cobia on the ones Rich  caught  , Randy let his go.  Biggest fish were 78 and 76lbs!  Thanks guys!  Ready to get back out on em weather has been a little bunk last couple days ready to get back on em!

Back out today with team CB and we fished hard and finally scratched out four cobia three small fish and one nice 55 lb piggy. Get pic up when ole cowbell send it to me off his fancy iPad

On the board back to Carolina one day and landed a nice 50 lber!  CongrAts guys nice to be home!
