Gotta give Cb props he was on point and made little effort not to rub in his fishing prowess! We had fun he brought couple buddies. His business partner and singer for cool band party on the moon! He landed the most triggers and we made fun out of a windy windy day. We bagged it today with the 30 mph winds and tstorms. Ready for a break from this barrage of heavy southwest winds.

Three trips with the world's most interesting man and his family. Day one two for two on cobia with Randy's son Cody getting his first cobia! Not seeing many lately so we felt extremely blessed to get em. We also landed some nice sheepshead. Triggers cooperated yesterday! Few Spanish. Then today the wind machine kicked it up a few notches!! It was rank and nobody except the captain cried uncle! Tough girls!! I then hid behind some sand island. With lots of live action in little critters. Croaker, spot, blowtoad, piggies, blues etc. thanks guys!!

Yesterday no luck on cobia ran two over thirty yards east of bridge saw another pop up at the bow. Glare got us so I went for game plan change buzzed one. Caught some triggers! Ran back in buzzed one. Fished slow for couple more hours catching some spanish. Today young fishing Finn and his family came out. Few Spanish, then the sharkin was really great action with little sharpies , blacktips, and couple hammerheads. The highlight was a cobia swam up and Finn cast to and landed on his own! Thanks everyone for fishing.

Yesterday looked doom and gloom ominous clouds south and west. These guys wanted to try it at least till weather ran us in. After 30 minutes of bait fishing with no luck and five hours of not making a cast. A buddy called and said he was seeing a few. I was 16 miles wrong way. Once there, we lucked into a nice pack of cobia. We put 8 out of 10 in the boat within 25 minutes! It seemed almost surgical. The boat had a really cool rhythm with little panic. The two fish on then three then gaff then another on. The fish were very cooperative. I have seen it go the other way on a pack seeing eight or ten and missing them all. Rather be lucky than good!!! Got some new hats in as well. Thanks everyone for fishing last few days!

This family always seems to get em! The fishing was tough with a few blues and Spanish to show. Late in the afternoon few fish popped and got three cobia in real quick. Congrats to young Claire (12) for getting first cobia! Sorry no pics phone died.

Buddy Seth and buddy's out couple days ago. Fishing has slowed but we did manage to get three. Two keepers and one throwback. But this throwback came on a custom capt Nemo rod aka Nick Walke from tws's bait and tackle. These old school colors and sick rod, not designed for cobia but we had to try it! Thanks guys and glad you got some!

One of those days your gonna get pounded. We felt the pain. We fished all day. No other boats cobia fishing. Saw a pack of ten all coco puffs , then we saw another dink in the glare. We finally hooked a good fish in the glare, 65 lber. Then pulled off a keeper and tossed one small one back. The clouds were tough on us but we fished hard and very proud of our nice fish! Thanks guys!!

Well after yesterday's washing the winds fell out and fishing was fantastic. Got the call from a buddy to get down the beach and in the meat it was! Had longtime buddy Lynwood and his lovely wife Chrissy fishing today. Kept six and released more. The total weight of the six fish were 365lbs. The biggest of the bunch was a studly 92lber!!! All these boscos were landed sightcasting with jigs. Buddy Dan got a pic of us cruising in the rock solid today from his cobia whacking boat, thought it was a nice pic. Thanks guys!

Fishing did slow some couple days ago. Team Bobalama came out getting 7 cobia! Yesterday we tried but the wind, rain, and waves relegated us to catching a few blacktip sharks and coming in. Today windy rough but sunny. We made quick work of em so hopefully they hang around a while!!

Well yesterday was one more day of cobia crazyness! Shane, Jim, and Gordon out and fish poppin everywhere! These guys have seen it good before but last two three years been scrappy fishing so it was nice to see them get lots of shots! We headed in at two with 25. I am positive fishing will slow down to normal tough fishing but it sure has been nice!!
