Happy Thanksgiving! Hope everyone is eating drinking and enjoying their families at home today. Thanks everyone for supporting us.
Hope you like the lastest vid we hit these fish off Nags Head a couple days ago. The last few trips I have ran we have landed citation fish of 35lbs or better. Did have one afternoon trip where we went 0 for 2, sorry guys. As a whole it is a welcomed sign maybe with the cooler temps we can enjoy normal OBX striper fishing as well. Some of our guys have headed up to VA as well and they seem to be doing good as well. So book a trip we still have a few openings for trips and accomadations open. Thanks Aaron

The Ocean Stripers are back!!!

I went out today on my friend's ''go fast boat,'' looking for the first ocean striper. When we left the house this morning there was ice on the canal so I had a good feeling about the day! We ran all the way to Sand Bridge Virginia with out any good signs of fish. On the way back down we found birds so we put out the baits and started to troll. The first few fish to bite were big Blue Fish, in the 16-17lb range. The Blues were a lot of fun and put up a good fight! Of course when we broke out the light tackle rods to play with the Blues we hooked up with the first big stripers of the season off the Outer Banks. All of the fish we caught were very nice size, two of them being over 35lbs! Unfortunately we had to leave the bite to make the run back to Kitty Hawk before dark. So if any body is up for catching a big Striper or Blue Fish on light tackle give us a call. Welcome back cold weather and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Saturday evening here just updating from a cold day of fishing. Rough conditions and did see some bird play but could not try em just too rough. We picked out a few but the bites were scarce but we did get another citation fish today of 35lbs! Nice to see quality fish early in the season. We have been landing these fish around Oregon Inlet N.C. Got a couple half day openings left in the next few weeks and hopfully the fishing will get better and better. Thanks guys!

It got cold!

We finally got done with building and bushing blinds. The fun part starts from here on out! My Buddy's Drew, Joe, and Nate have been hunting a few more times than I have this season so far. Aaron and I have been working on the Carolina Blue Boat and the good news is we now have forward and reverse!! We're all ready for full on rock fishing! This cold weather should bring the fish down pretty fast. The sound rock fishing is still good. I have some days open after thanksgiving if anyone is interested.

Drew and I went hunting today and had a good shoot with a mix bag of gadwalls, mallards, green wing teal, and some bonus snow geese. We should have had a quite a few more birds but we had some shot guns shells made by PETA! Yeah like that was the problem. So if any one's got some good shells, we got the ducks. There are nine Blinds we hunt in Currituck and Dare County and we also have float blind permits for both. My duck hunting is just like my fishing style, I go were they are. A good plan I think.
Looking forward to fishing The Rock fish Rodeo on December 6th. Lots of fins and feathers to all and good luck to Aaron with his togey togs. The first few big rock fish are making me jealous!!

Nice 41" striper!!!

Fished yesterday afternoon and we landed one nice 41" striper!! A nice fish and hopefully one of many more to come this winter. This is the first big ocean fish we have seen this year to start. As waters cool we should see more and more. We also landed a few flounder casting jigs.

Skinny from swimming his butt down south but happy to see him, maybe the shoals will give some up soon!!

Toggy toggers posting on the blogger! This was a half day on the 10th and we landed nine nice tog around the inlet. Been fishing about every day still mostly half days. Been tough lately with scattered blues, specks, puppy drum, and stripers. BUt not many at any given spot. Hope waters keep cooling soooooo we can get some better striper fishing. Thanks everyone!

Getting ready for duck season

This week we are finally getting started with bushing all the blinds, yeah not the fun part. We did see a good number of ducks, the November season opens on the 8th so if any one wants to book a trip call me and we can set something up. This could turn out to be a fun day, with the possibility of duck hunting in the morning and fishing in one of our boats in the afternoon. The rock fishing is still very good in the sound. Hopefully if the weather gets cold enough the ocean rock will be here in full force soon! Here is a picture of my Chesapeake ''Teallie'', and a few swans from last year. The weather looks pretty ugly for the next few days so finishing the blinds should be more fun than normal. That's all right it's still fun? The fishing should be good after this blow. There are a lot of nice slot size drum in the sound that may want to check out a bait. These fish are great fun on light tackle! All right I should go to bed now because my blind partners will be ready to roll early to finish the blinds before Saturday rain or shine, we'll see......
