Cobia fishing

Wong crew out today. Out the inlet crack o nine. Hit a pair of fatcats. Soaked down the beach. Then it was pretty great fishing. Cobia were popping. More small guys around to the point we stopped casting at em, no need to pad the numbers. Then picked out limit and released another eight. Booking a year in advance seems like rolling the dice but thats worked pretty good for Rich today and in the past! 69 lbs biggest fish.Great day, thanks guys!

Sawyer crew fishes hard

Rolling seas and choppy conditions made it tough to stay connected to the fish in the tower. Busted fish off, wrapped tips, pulled em off, along with picky eaters made for a trying day. But stayed the course fished hard and John got a piggy 75 lber to add to the other three. He also tagged and released one! Thanks!

Gomez cobia fishing!

Last minute cancellation so Mike hopped on! Inlet was rough so we went back into to inlet tossed anchor fished couple hours ate sandwiches. Tide started to flood we got out the much calmer Inlet around one. Saw seven hooked seven landed six! Thanks mike!

Cole and Dad catch em

We could not go cobia fishing because the weather was not fit in the ocean so we fished in the backwaters off Kitty Hawk. Cole landed his first redfish then another. We also landed some nice trout! Dad also landed a few stripers in the mix! At one point Cole was reeling in a fish when another rod ejected itself off the boat when a big fish or ray pulled it off the boat. Bummed because fish and brand new first day out rod and reel went overboard. After 20 minutes of casting around for it, we snagged a line, handlined a fat trout ( jig buried way back in his throat) and then pulled rod back in!!! Winner winner fried trout dinner!! Thanks guys! See ya in July.
