Sea squatch
Fished today with Kevin. He normally whacks cobia with me in the summer. Well we went in the ocean today to see what we could find. We ended up with one released 50lb rockfish and a creepy 25 lb monkfish. Never caught one before and I am sure trolling a horse ballyhoo on a planer is not the best way to catch them but neat to see one. The guys did not want to eat it so I am gonna try it. They say poor mans lobster. I say sea squatch!

Supa star trout wacker guys!
Great day! These guys were good fisherman and we had fun today. We were supposed to striper fish out of Oregon inlet but the total lack of bait and zero sign of stripers opted us to go try the trout hole. It paid off well. These guys casted to a limit then some. The guys striper fishing around Virginia beach are catching some at times. Seems the fish want to stay off the beach. But did hear of them moving inside the line yesterday evening.

Tilefish and the sea monster
We fished all day for bluefin today and it was extremely slow. At the end of the day we went for some dinner. Tilefish were chewing and Clinton hooked sea monster jigging on the bottom with a two pound giant jig. Three hundred yards of line out then 1:40 minutes tug o war. Then with hundred feet o line bitch slapped. The fish got pissed ran off 400 yards of line and the 150 braid parted. Oh well good story!
