Red drum

Good fishing continues ( well until) today. Rodrigues family whacks the triggers Capt Ron gets a nice gray trout.  Afternoon crew gets a cobia and into a handful of brawls with red drum up to fifty lbs!  Then today. All over just nothing seemed to be poppin. Two Bonita.  Hopefully tomorrow will be great!  Thanks everyone!

More cobia

Decosta crew got five. Couple triggers. Phil and his son got a 52 lber this am and Doug and his family got a nice one this afternoon! Thanks everyone!  Sorry for the delay.

Out today rough and windy but scared up a few cobia. We got four to the boat with Tom getting a piggy 88-90 lber! Thanks guys!

Half day Harry

Two half says today. I try to shy away from them because it seems tough to put a good trip together sometimes due to distance and time constraints. Today we dodged the bullet! Nice catch of dolphin in am and a shark and catch of triggers in pm!! Thanks guys!

July fishing stays hot

Yesterday 3 cobia five big drum and handful of sharks on am trip. Pm trip just one cobia. Today. One cobia on the way out. Handful of triggers, ajs on the topwater, 25 dolphin, two cobia on way in. Missed one wahoo and a sail but can be perfect. All within 12 miles of the beach! Not typical but we will take it!!

Aubrey crew gets cobia

Yesterday as Chris stated, it's like a shooting gallery. We saw a lot of fish and made a lot of casts! We ended up with 12 and kept six. My guys today wanted to get off the beach and go look for something different, maybe a aj dolphin or something. It pained me to not fish for cobia. Well out to lunch land off the beach along some sargasso line. Hour of that trolling around nothing pulled off a nice tripletail and landed one lonely seabass. Got two cobia twenty miles out. Bumpy so I coerced them to run in and fish the afternoon close to the inlet got one more. Thanks guys!

The Kegley family out yesterday looking for some cobia. Tough visibility but we fished hard hooked five and got three into the boat. Congrats to Davis and Pierce for their citation qualifying catches!

Triggers, big drum, and more

Sorry for slacking on the updates. Triggerfish seemed to found their way into the fish box. Scattered spadefish, flounder, amberjack, cobia, and dolphin. We also hit a nice school of big redfish. Cobia fishing is always my priority but this time of year you gotta be flexible and go with what the day gives ya! Thanks everyone for fishing!!

Slowed down

Enfuego hot streak stalls out. We fished most of the day. We saw one and got one! Guess we will get back at em tomorrow.

What in the world?!

July hot cobia fishing obx, what in the world?! (Creeper quote) Well half day am trip the Biggs party out. Just trying to get new recruit six year old Billy and young stud Cole out and forge future cobia finatics! Got five in the boat! Wish I could say I got my first cobia at six! Proud Dads this am. Afternoon trip the Klein crew came out and put a eight fish beat down on em! Nice fish too! Fun crew. Great fishing! Today Larry Gray came out for some cobia fishing. We got three into the boat.with a 45, and two whoppers 69 & 71lbs. Not sure how much longer this great fishing will last but its been quite a ride!!! Thanks to everyone for fishing!!!!
