Also Scott owner of Blue moon beach grill ( killer eats if you never been there ) and capt John Sheets with a nice catch of cobia with couple real nice ones. One weighing In the 80s! That makes five over 80 this year wow been a good run! I gaffed Scott's piggy in the head somewhere on a deep shot and blood went everywhere! Maybe not great for a magazine pic but great for eating. When we bleed the fish out the meat tastes even better! And special congrats to Capt Amanda running the Carolina Blue now on her first cobia trip boxing a couple nice cobia with one piggy 78lbs! Wow! What a great way to get the Carolina Blue cranked up for the season! And a sturgeon sigh casting? Never done that before on the Rock Solid. Saw this splotchy creepy looking creature swimming on top. Threw the meathog jig and it found its place accidentally under an armor plate. Scott wrestled it up to the boat and I dehooked this beat up looking fish and let it swim away. I guess it got in a fight with a bigger fish or gill net or something and got infected but I was not touching it. Cool never know what you gonna see. Been catching a few spot, croaker, blues, flounder in the sound on these last few blow days but hopefully get back out for some cobia tomorrow. All fish have been caught on meathog fishing custom cobia jigs. The sound fish on 1/4 ounce meathog jigs with super sexy super sharp hand poured Jig heads. Right now they can be found at tws bait and tackle, whalebone tackle, and Oregon inlet fishing center. All hand tied and poured in USA please support the great Bobalama because meathog supports rocksolidfishing fishing!!!!! got plenty of pics and vids coming just stoked to get phone back!
